Overview
The present invention the use of activated carbon layer beneath the solar cells/panels, which acts as heat dissipating agent in between the solar cells/panels and ambient. The method for making the activated carbon layer beneath the solar cells/panels is simple, low cost and easy to fabricate. The activated carbon layer used in this study is very stable and has efficient thermal cooling capacity. The efficiency of the cooling layer can be tuned by optimizing the thickness and surface texturization. The present invention has the quality to reduce the working temperature of solar cells/panels during summer, and makes solar cells/panels, to work on its higher efficiency, even in extreme summers.
